Author Tom Zoellner will discuss his new book, "Train."  He will provide a brief overview of the history of American railroads, with a focus on the Metro-North line, and make the case for the continued importance of rail as a form of modern transportation.

Zoellner is the author of five nonfiction books, including the award-winning Uranium (which he discussed on The Daily Show). He was a reporter for the San Francisco Chronicle and the Arizona Republic.

This event will involve a short presentation followed by discussion that can cover trains, uranium and the process of writing non-fiction.

Non-pizza lunch will be served.
